We are an architectural/planning firm with a broad
range of experience in various types of design
projects including new and renovation work. The
structure of the organization is that of a
professional corporation which retains engineering
consultants for each project.
We maintain full-time offices in Metropolitan
Washington, D.C., and provide services in Washington
D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. We are also licensed
to practice in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and
retain NCARB certifications for national
registration throughout the United States.
Members of our organization have successfully
executed a wide variety of architectural designs for
institutional, transportation, residential,
industrial, educational, and commercial projects,
including major new construction, interior space
planning, renovation and remodeling projects over a
period of more than forty-three (43) years in
continuous practices.
MWB is committed to resource conservation, and we
understand the role of sustainable design in meeting
Green Building Standards. Our firm is a member of
the Green Building Council.
MWB●Architects utilizes
the latest technology and planning methods,
including Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD),
three dimensional real time dynamic Building
Information Modeling (BIM), Systems Analysis Life
Cycle Costing and Value Engineering, to supplement
traditional methods of planning, programming,
design, and preliminary cost estimating. These
applications assist in analyzing and developing
appropriate, innovative, and practical solutions to
satisfy the requirements of our clients, and result
in innovative design solutions.
